We also publish the silence.
Every market-research feed you have ever paid for had one structural defect: it must produce calls to justify its fee. So it produces them — in chop, in thin tape, in no-man's-land — and the reader pays twice: the subscription, then the slippage. Ananse is built on the opposite covenant. It is paid to be honest, and some weeks honesty reads: stand down.
A signal you pay for must be allowed to say nothing.
Ananse is a 13-condition gold engine governed by a council of specialist modules and one orchestrator. Before any directional call reaches you, it must pass a regime gate — a filter whose contribution we did not assert but measured: across a 1,639-trade backtest, trades the gate allowed outperformed the trades it blocked by 4.5 percentage points of win rate. The gate earns its keep precisely by what it keeps you out of.
And when the engine does speak, it speaks on the record: every forecast is committed to a shadow ledger before the outcome exists — direction, horizon, reference price, timestamp — then graded with no edits, no deletions, and the misses counted next to the hits. The silences are recorded too. That is the product: not a tipster, but a disciplined instrument whose entire history — calls, misses, and abstentions — is inspectable.
Six weeks of NEUTRAL. On purpose.
Through May and early June 2026, gold went nowhere worth trading: a split council, regime strength at zero, anxious sentiment, choppy microstructure. Most paid signals kept publishing anyway. Ananse published its discipline instead — tick after tick of NEUTRAL, each one logged, while staking its directional lean (bearish) on the shadow ledger where it will be graded. When this regime resolves, the record will show both: the engine leaned the right way or it didn't, and it refused to pay slippage for noise while the tape was thin. No signal-seller whose revenue depends on activity can offer you that second fact.
Ten specialists counsel · the throne decides · verdicts illustrative · paper-trade mode
Honest labels, always: the trading figures are an out-of-sample backtest of a risk-reduction overlay (2020–2026, PAXG 4h) — near gold's return with materially less drawdown — not return-alpha, and not live-capital performance. The engine runs in paper-trade mode. The forecast ledger is the part you can grade yourself.
Three doors. One honesty standard.
Early access, by request. Ananse is offered as a market-research and data subscription — engine state, council reasoning, and the forecast ledger as inspectable data. Whatever the tier, you get the same engine and the same truth discipline; the tiers change how close to the metal you stand.

Guaranteed returns
No performance promises, ever. The ledger shows what the engine did; the future is not for sale. Ananse output is research, not investment advice.
Edited history
Forecasts are committed before outcomes and graded as-is. Misses are counted, displayed, and — in the bond mechanics — slashed. There is no delete button, and we publish the metrics that embarrass us next to the ones that don't.
Activity theater
No signals manufactured to look busy. When the regime gate closes, you get the closure, the reasons, and the silence — on the record. Methodology stays frozen while the record accrues; changes reset the epoch, visibly.
Plain words: Ananse is offered as market research and data tooling — it is not investment advice, not portfolio management, not a brokerage or trading service, and not an offer of securities. The engine trades paper, not live capital; the track record is young and being built in public — that is the point. Trading involves risk. Read the risk disclosure before relying on anything.
Everyone sells you noise.
We put our silence on the record.
If the next leg in gold matters to your book, you want the instrument that proved it could wait for it. Early access is limited while the engine runs its public paper epoch — the subscribers who join now watch the track record being forged, commitment by commitment.
